WWII Palestine Volunteer Force metal hat badge 1942-1943. Made from thin blackened brass in good condition, curved. No maker with slider back. Featuring image of St George slaying a dragon. The Volunteer force was raised in Palestine during WWII and recruited from British, Arab and Jewish citizens of the Mandate. It numbered up to 2000 men as a ”home guard” force. The force was disbanded after the threat to Palestine disappeared with the defeat of Rommel.

Royal West African Frontier Force Hat and two collar badges. The RWAFF was a multy-battalion field force, formed by the British Colonial Office in 1900 to garrison the West African colonies. The RWAFF saw action during the First and Second World Wars. These badges would be WWII era. Hat has a slider and the collars are lugged. All intact. Maker W.M.Dowler & Sons Birmingham
