medals correctly impressed QX26066 HH SCHULTZ. Killed in action 7 dec 1942.Age 20, Schultz was killed on Sanananda road during the fiercest attack on the Australians since invasion. The group comes with box of issue, original govt letter of death, and a trench vase that was started by Schultz. He was killed before he could finish the engraving. The vase was finished by his best friend.

WWI Trench Art Letter Opener named 4014 J S McCann 1st Pioneers AIF. Cartridge dated 1917. Pte McCann enlisted 19th August 1915 aged 18years, RTA 30th June 1919. Length 23cms.
