Awarded DSO January 1943 – Middle East, Bar DSO May 1944 – SW Pacific, CBE (M) July 1945 – SW Pacific, MID March 1947. Wounded in Action October 1942 PNG. Comd 2/48 Aust Inf Bn 8/1/42 to 17/6/43. Comd 15 Aust Inf Bde 18/6/43 to 18/10/45. ADC to Her Majesty the Queen 13/4/54. Includes Named Major-General shoulder titles, three pairs lapel insignia, two buttons and ribbon bar with MID.
Australian RAAF WWII Pith Helmet with Colour Patch and Service Number
Australian RAAF WWII Pith Helmet with Colour Patch and three fold puggaree. The helmet has the service number #8284 written inside. The number was issued to Flying Office Joseph John Cutler. More research is required. Complete with liner and chin strap. The helment is in GC with the usual service wear and marks.

Rare WW2 French Lt.Col kepi and judges cap, attributable to Lortsch. This collection is superb. The Lt Col kepi comes with his named judges hat/cap and box. Also 2x period photographs in a frame portraying Judge Lortsch in uniforms.
