1929 Invitation to the Presentation of the Prince of Wales Cup

1929 Captain William Salmon DCM MM invitation at the presentation of the Prince of Wales Cup by Lieut-Gen Sir Harry Chauvel on 16 August 1929 to 12th Light Horse Regiment 4 Troop Sabre Sqn Tenterfield and the Tenterfield Mounted Rifle Club invitation to Captain Salmon at their annual Smoke Social 16 August 1929.  Also included is a photo of a mounted troop (unidentified)  The invitations have some insect damage and a torn corner.  Please refer to the photos.  113 William Salmon enlisted in the AIF 26 Sept 1914 and embarked for overseas with 7th Light Horse Regiment on 20 Dec 1914.  Sgt. Salmon was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal and the Military Medal for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty.
