Pte William Mitchell McKenzie enlisted in the AIF 25 October 1916 with 31st Bn 12th Re-inf embarked Sydney HMAT Demosthenes 23 December 1916. Reported missing in France 27 September 1917. Officially updated to Prisoner of War Germany 4 October 1917 with GSW left arm. Repatriated to England 19 December 1918. RTA 15 March 1919.
