WWI 1916 Ypres Sweetheart Pin Cushion/Jewellery Keep

WWI 1916 Ypres embroidered “To My Sweetheart” Pin Cushion/Jewellery Keep.  Attached to the cushion are three enamel and brass brooches – Two floral heart shaped with 1916 and a shield shape with Ypres.  Pinned inside is a diamante and feathered silk brooch.  The cushion has some damage which is attributed to age.  Measures 22cm x 12cm folded.  The cushion was obtained from a Brisbane family.  One for the “sweetheart” collectors
