WWII Sweetheart Corps of Aust Elect & Mech Engrs (Field Units)

WWII Sweetheart Corps of Australian Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (Field Units) 1942-1945 with Australian Coat of Arms/Blue enamel Map of Australia and silver plated Boomerang.  The sweetheart is a lapel pin with the colour patch inserted in a heart.  The silver plated heart is attached to the boomerang by a fine silver plated chain.  The is some loss of blue enamel in the front of the kangaroo and there is evidence of silver solder on the rear.  This is a genuine sweetheart made in the field workshops.  The boomerang measures 4cm across.
